Using money raised by National Lottery players, The National Lottery Heritage Fund supports projects that connect people and communities with the UK’s heritage. The Thanet Heritage Volunteer Hub is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. This project was initiated by The Margate Caves Community Education Trust, and works with fellow stakeholder Thanet District Council. Funding has been given by the National Lottery Heritage Fund for a two-year pilot project, with further funding by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
